The Qingdao Innovation Institute (QDII) is established with the joint supports of SRI International and the Qingdao Oceantec Valley.
The Qingdao Innovation Institute has two goals: one is to assist scientists and engineers in commercializing their technologies and inventions; the other is cross-border technology transfer, including bringing companies from Silicon Valley and around the world to Qingdao to allow them to access the China market and helping Qingdao companies identify oversea resources in order to go to international markets.
SRI was founded by Stanford University in 1946.For decades,SRI has made thousands of great innovations that have changed people’s lifestyle in communication,network,computing,energy,environment,life science,material,education,economic development and science and technology policy,etc,including computer mouse,robot,network,color and HD TV,intelligent audio indentify technology Siri,minimally invasive technology for robot surgery,and malaria remedy.During this process,SRI innovation rules have been formed,being called as the spint of Silicon Valley.SRI is the biggest comprehensive research institute in America.
