Bob Schoettle develops and delivers SRI International’s Innovation Programs, including mentoring entrepreneurial teams. SRI’s Innovation Programs are designed for organizations in government, academia, and industry to help them develop and implement processes to encourage, foster, and manage innovation and entrepreneurship and a supporting ecosystem.These programs have multiple repeat clients around the globe in Canada, Chile, Malaysia, the Mideast, Japan, Finland, Turkey and other countries, as well as the United States.

 

Schoettle has over 30 years of executive and marketing experience in high-tech markets, with a strong track record of securing venture capital investments, driving rapid growth and achieving successful exits (2 IPO’s, 6 acquisitions). Most recently he was Chief Marketing Officer for Corticon and Panasas and has also worked with large companies in the IT space including IBM, Siemens and ITT.

His experience base covers industry markets including enterprise software and services, communications/networking (wireless/voice/data/video), security and storage. He has successfully demonstrated hands---on management experience in product marketing strategy/positioning, corporate communications, product management, market/channel development and sales.

 

Schoettle has a Bachelor of Science undergraduate degree in Commerce from the University of Virginia, and an MBA from Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business.
