From February 25 to March 1, 2019, the second phase of the SRI Silicon Valley Innovation Training Camp - How to Enter Market, hosted by the QDII, successfully completed a five-day course in Qingdao Oceantec Valley. Mr. Claude Leglise, CEO of the Innovation Leadership Center of SRI International, Chairman of QDII, Atsuko Hoshizumi, Innovation Partner of SRI International, and Serena Cheng, entrepreneurship service mentor and postgraduate supervisor at MIT, acted as innovation training mentors. The three big shots from Silicon Valley went to Qingdao to bring original Silicon Valley incubation to entrepreneurs and tap into their potential of growing into heads of great companies in the future. The mentor team brought the new thinking of QDII from business plan to market entry for the projects, and provided one-on-one mentoring to help the project teams in the second phase of training develop business plans that are adapted to the market.

Throughout the two-day one-on-one mentoring, the mentors gave advice suited for the actual development of the projects based on the challenges they met, rationalized the enterprise operation ideas in the early stage of the start-up team, and provided assistance to the project teams participating in the camp.
