On the afternoon of March 15, QDII launched the 3rd Session of Innovative Community Activity in Qingdao Oceantec Valley. Mr. Wang Wenliang, a senior partner of Shandong Beilaide Law Firm, a law expert and external instructor with the Law School of Ocean University of China (OUC), gave a lecture themed on Legal Issues and Risk Prevention of Start-ups to entrepreneurs to help start-ups avoid the legal pitfalls on the path toward entrepreneurship. The project teams entering the second phase of the “SRI Silicon Valley Innovation Training Camp” demonstrated the plans on entry into the market during this innovative community activity. Through the innovative community activities, SQDII helped the teams in the camp to complete a series of planning in market, competition, revenue, and user communication, in order to obtain a clear business market plan.
By introducing a large number of cases, Mr. Wang focused on various legal risks that may occur during the development of the company and their countermeasures. He also focused on the legal risks in the establishment and equity structure of the start-ups, of the company shareholders and legal representative, as well as the legal risks in signing labor contracts and major contracts and equity incentives.
Start-ups should enhance their legal awareness and get prepared to prevent legal risks in the initial stage of the entrepreneurship and avoid the legal traps in daily operations, so that the business can grow healthily and smoothly, and soon become the “super moon” in the eyes of others.
