Phase III of SRI Silicon Valley Innovation Training Camp was held in Qingdao Oceantec Valley. In this phase, a special innovation incubation training themed on “Financing and Company Building” was carried out for 11 entrepreneur teams from Qingdao and other places in China.

Three phases of innovation courses have been held in the camp, with a view at helping the entrepreneurs reduce the difficulties in starting up a business, attract investment, and achieve fast commercialization. This phase focused on financing and enterprise operation & planning, helping the entrepreneur teams develop investible business plans and accelerate the process of marketization. Claude Leglise, Executive President of SRI International Innovation Center and Mr. Huang Yinghan, the enterprise education program consultant of Northwestern University, the US, served as mentors in this phase.

Moreover, QDII also held the first senior technical manager training, with a focus on the standard assessment of sci-tech achievements, discovering the objective value of sci-tech achievements, and propelling the eco-development of innovation and entrepreneurship. Prof. Xiao Kefeng from Qingdao Agricultural University, an editorial board member of Specification for Standardized Assessment of Sci-tech Achievements of China, gave a special training themed on Standardized Assessment of Sci-tech Achievements and Its Application in Technology Transfer for the participating students.

At last, through the innovation incubation training (three phases in total) and the standardized assessment training of sci-tech achievement organized by the SRI Silicon Valley Innovation Training Camp, 10 excellent students stood out from nearly a hundred participants of 36 sci-tech projects and graduated, receiving their senior technical manager certificates from Mr. Claude Leglise and Prof. Xiao Kefeng.
