On the morning of April 28, Phase II of Silicon Valley Innovation Accelerated Camp in 2020, hosted by Qingdao Oceantec Valley Administration Bureau and organized by Qingdao Innovation Institute (QDII) and Haier Hai Chuanghui (HCH), had a public online live broadcast lecture for the improvement stage, as Lecture 3 of this program. Mr. Bob Schoettle, a marketing expert in Silicon Valley and partner of global innovation of SRI International, taught as a special guest how to capture the market segment, formulate the competitive strategy and seize the market opportunity in the political and economic environment with increasingly intense competition for the entrepreneurs. So far, over 10,000 entrepreneurs have watched the public online live broadcast lecture of Silicon Valley Innovation Accelerated Camp.

Mr. Bob Schoettle managed the marketing teams of many large companies and startups. He shared his rich experience with everyone in the live broadcasting and taught how to solve the possible problems in the enterprise development by sensible competition. Before access to market, the enterprises shall be psychologically well prepared and aware of that the competition is everywhere. Maybe the market competition in the industry is very intense, but it is possible to defeat the powerful opponents. We can analyze the competitors' products, services and marketing modes, accurately understand the differences of our own products from the competitive ones and their superiority, and form the company's competitive strategy through competitive analysis and product differentiation. Meanwhile, working out the competitive strategy in the view of the competitors' weakness can greatly increase the company's probability of success after access to market. Enterprise should also make quick response and adjust their strategies in time in the face of market change.

In the Q&A session on site, Doctor Huang Yannong, CEO of Qingdao Innovation Institute (QDII), made a two-way communication in both Chinese and English once again and realized real-time interaction between the enthusiastic questioners in the live broadcasting room and Mr. Bob Schoettle. Mr. Bob Schoettle repeatedly emphasized that the company must find out the differentiation in competition and this would be beneficial to customers and market prospect. Doctor Huang Yannong said that, Qingdao Innovation Institute would help enterprises capture the market segment, make dynamic analysis of the competitive strategy with a new perspective, and instruct them to figure out differentiation and work out competitive strategies suitable for their own development paths to drive development.

According to the introduction of Ma Yang, the host of this event and Chief Operating Officer of Qingdao Innovation Institute (QDII), the exclusive acceleration service of Phase II of Silicon Valley Innovation Accelerated Camp in 2020 has popped up online. Multiple projects have entered the camp in succession and received the first follow-up tutorship organized by Qingdao Innovation Institute (QDII) on April 26 and 27.
