On January 23, 2019, the French Innovation Technology Promotion Conference hosted by Qingdao Innovation Institute was successfully held in Qingdao Oceantec Valley. Qingdao Innovation Institute is jointly established and supported by Stanford International Research Institute and Qingdao Oceantec Valley Management Bureau. This French technology promotion conference is the first overseas technology introduction activity of Qingdao Innovation Institute. The guest of introduction of French innovation and technology at this presentation was Mr. Maximilian Nguyen, CEO of French venture capital Dumani. He has served as senior executives of Safran Group in France, executives of high-tech companies SAGEM, Bull CP8, and Aerospatiale, and graduated from ENSEA in his early years.
Mr. Maximilian was invited to visit Qingdao, introduced the innovative ecological environment of France and Europe to the guests, and introduced more than 60 innovative technologies from Dumani and the French Atomic Energy Research Center. It is reported that Dumani's mission is to help French companies with key technical assets go to market. Their partners include: AirLiquide, Sodexo, SebAlliance, Safran, etc., so they have multi-channel resources. On average, they focus on high-tech fields every year and invest 10-15 projects. The French Atomic Energy Research Center CEA-Tech is a technical research department of the French Atomic Energy and Alternative Energy Commission (CEA). At the promotion meeting, Qingdao Innovation Institute and French venture capital Dumani signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement to deepen cooperation in cross-border technology transfer between China and France and the docking of international resources.
