01 High-content cross-border technology transfer
More than 160 items of cutting-edge technologies from Europe, America, Israel and other regions are available in the overseas technology project pool of Qingdao Innovation Institute. In the second year, we continued to follow up the introduction of Objectivity projects in the previous year, and added key projects to promote Adexa, Gappify, Justransform, Three Gorges Medical Inspection, and Mineng Hua.
In addition, Qingdao Innovation Institute recommended Gappify, a Silicon Valley black technology robotic process automation financial machine, to complete the research of the Chinese market and organize the ideas and directions to enter the Chinese market. Hold a promotion session. Recommend the leader of enterprise integration platform and service, Justransform, a high-tech company in Silicon Valley, and establish the intention of cooperation between the company and Qingdao Innovation Institute.
02 Localization of international innovation training content
Qingdao Innovation Institute cooperated with Ocean University of China to conduct a special technology transfer guidance program for one academic year from 2019 to 2020. Through theoretical courses + practical research, the program aims to cultivate high-quality talents with international vision, innovation spirit and practical ability. The students who have successfully completed the technology transfer guidance program have deeply investigated the possibility of project implementation and mastered the innovative thinking system and project operation and management methods, and finally 26 students have been recognized by both Qingdao Innovation Institute and Ocean University of China, receiving the special certificate of Qingdao Innovation Institute, the certificate of SRDP program of Ocean University of China and 2 credits of practical courses.
In 2020, the Institute's technology transfer guidance program leading universities into the market is being carried out for the second time at Ocean University of China. According to the relevant requirements, through self-enrollment and interview screening, and inviting relevant experts to conduct evaluation, 35 students, with a total of 11 projects, were finally identified to participate in this special study from 96 students who applied.
Jointly with Konka Group to create a localized innovation training curriculum system. Cooperate with domestic institutions to implant Silicon Valley innovation thinking into other institutions and trainings. Now the online course training of Central Knowledge Light is online. Hold four special training sessions on Silicon Valley innovation thinking for government agencies, research institutes, colleges and universities, and market players.
03 The 2nd Silicon Valley Innovation Acceleration Camp
The "Stanford Qingdao Institute Innovation Incubation Acceleration Program" was changed to an online approach due to the epidemic, divided into two sections: online live courses and exclusive acceleration services. The teams are selected after national recruitment. On March 19, 2020, the 2nd Silicon Valley Innovation Acceleration Camp opened its project recruitment channel, and the teams were recruited from all over the country through the government, partners, and innovative market channels, and screened by the organizing committee on April 15.
The Silicon Valley mentors taught three phases of the program through the online approach: the initial selection phase, the enhancement phase, and the advanced phase, for a total of six sessions. Stanford Qingdao Institute set up a cross-border online live streaming platform for this purpose. Teams selected for the camp enjoy exclusive acceleration services provided by the Institute, including business modeling, expert tracking and coaching, investment and financing roadshows, senior technical manager training, and government resource matching.
Through online lectures, special guidance and real-time interaction, together attracted more than 20,000 enterprises to participate, only Qingdao Innovation Institute unilateral channel has collected more than 40 science and technology projects, after assessment and selection of 27 projects into the camp, of which two high-quality enterprises landed in Oceantec Valley.
04 Steady implementation of double recruitment and double attraction

Among them, the Qingdao branch of China Shipbuilding Marine Exploration Technology Research Institute Co., Ltd, a subsidiary of the central enterprise CSIC, has officially landed in Qingdao Oceantec Valley this year, and the project mainly has three major products and services: lubricants, corrosion protection, and equipment sealing services. The headquarter of Belmont New Material Technology Co., Ltd. is located in Qingdao Oceantec Valley, and the production base was built in Zhongnan Hi-Tech Industrial Park in Jimo District, Qingdao this year, covering a total area of 2,400 square meters, with an estimated annual production of 10,000 tons of environmentally friendly high-performance lubricants.
In the next year, Qingdao Innovation Institute still needs to focus on strengthening the study and in-depth cooperation with local Qingdao, Shandong Province, including domestic and other focused industries; further focus on the introduction of high-quality technology projects with international background or certain industrialization and marketability in Europe, the United States, including the Yangtze River Delta, Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao; shift from decentralized introduction to specific focused industries, including focusing on strengthening in-depth cooperation with capital parties.
